Character Repertoire Validation for XML Documents
XML documents may contain a large diversity of characters. The Character Repertoire Validation for XML (CRVX) language is a simple schema language for specifying character repertoire constraints. These constraints can be specific for syntaxand/or context-based parts of an XML document. The constraints are based on the character classes introduced by XML Schema’s regular expressions.
متن کاملModels for Natural Killer Cell Repertoire Formation
Natural killer (NK) cells lyse only cells that do not express sufficient levels of self class I MHC molecules. Inhibition of lysis is mediated by inhibitory receptors expressed by NK cells, such as the murine Ly49 receptors, that bind to MHC class I molecules. Since inhibitory receptor genes and MHC class I genes are located on different chromosomes, and are hence not automatically co-inherited...
متن کاملAn expanded TALE repertoire
Cell type–specific gene expression, which is essential during development, relies on the action of enhancers. Several techniques allow for the identification of enhancer elements; Maehr and colleagues have now developed a method to functionally characterize them. They use the clustered, regularly interspaced, short palindromic repeats (CRISPR) system whereby guide RNAs and a nuclease-‘dead’ ver...
متن کاملantigen-experienced B-cell receptor repertoire in healthy children and adults
Upon antigen recognition via their B cell receptor (BR), B cells migrate to the germinal center where they undergo somatic hypermutation (SHM) to increase their affinity for the antigen, and class switch recombination (CSR) to change the effector function of the secreted antibodies. These steps are essential to create an antigen-experienced BR repertoire that efficiently protects the body again...
